DON'T SPEND YOUR $$$ HERE!! Worst customer service EVER! A co-worker and I stopped in for lunch here today. While waiting for our main entree, our soup was delivered first. I noticed a bottle of Siracha hot sauce on a nearby table and asked the young guy (who was our waiter) if I could have some of it. He politely said yes and he walked over and put it on our table. Before I could even use the hot sauce in my soup, a lady from the back came out and snatched the Siracha hot sauce from our table and said, "This for boss only! Not for customers!" I then replied, "Well, could I at least just have some, not the entire bottle?" And she rudely walked away repeating, "No, this for boss only, boss only, boss only," as she walked towards the back. Then when we got our food, the order was messed up. My co-worker had ordered white rice, but was given fried rice. He also ordered a Dr. Pepper that never came, so we had to ask for it and of course they didn't even bring it and then come to tell us that they only have Root Beer. They purposely tried to ignore us and therefore, we did not tip them! Upon leaving, they were snickering at us..maybe because we didn't tip them (WOW shocker!) If we weren't on our lunch break and pressed for time--we would have left! The experience was HORRIBLE! We will NEVER come back and will tell every one we know about our experience here too. If I could give zero stars I would have!

I lived in China for two years and this is the most authentic tasting Chinese food stateside outside of China Town SF. $6 (less than any value meal) @ lunch gets you more food that most can eat I almost always end up taking some to go.

This seems to be a decent place to come and eat food, not to friendly when you come in though. I only came here cause my usual place was closed today.

Gen and I stumbled over after tossing back a few at the San Juan Club.I love how small and intimate the place is. Ordered fantastic orange chicken and egg drop soup. The server was a very sweet 14 year old boy.I havent had Chinese food this good since leaving LA!

First, let me start off by saying that there have only been a couple of restaurant experiences where we've been unwilling to finish/save what we've ordered (i.e., we're not super finicky/picky eaters). That said, we tossed about 80% of what we ordered from Szechuan Garden. We're vegetarians and have had the pleasure of having easy access to many Chinese restaurants with delicious imitation meat dishes. However, at Szechuan Garden, their vegetarian "sweet and sour pork" consists of something that may have been zucchini cubes, deep fried in bread balls.Their vegetarian "kung pao chicken" consists of tofu cubes with vegetables.Their vegetarian "pot stickers" had a strong taste of uncooked dough, and were equally "un-finishable."Their menu stated (under "Vegetarian Specials"), "Pork Chicken made by imitation." However, the vegetarian "pork" and "chicken" items we ordered weren't made from any of the numerous imitation "meats" we've encountered before. Instead, it clearly should have been called "deep fried zucchini bread balls with sweet and sour sauce" and "tofu cubes with kung pao vegetables."On top of the weird imitation meat issues, the sauces themselves weren't delicious. We won't even be giving them a second chance...

After reading the reviews, I did go here to attempt dinner. After being seated I checked the menu and there were no combo plates. I don't know about other Chinese food patrons but I want a combo of a main dish, fried rice and/or chow mein, some type of other side like a wonon/potsticker/egg roll, and soup. I'm not sure why some only offer an entree which comes with rice only. I got up and left without ordering.

My best friend took me here for the first time a few days ago. We ordered the hot and sour soup, veggie dumplings, and veggie noodles. Everything was amazing and I was totally happy with the experience. We had way too much soup left over so I took it home.Today I was eating that same left over soup and found some foreign object that looks like a plastic nail or something in it. I posted a picture of it on here.I'm legitimately bummed about this because I really loved this place. Unfortunately I will NOT be coming back. I've taken a food safety class and if you can imagine how grossed out I was by the food industry after that, think about how grossed out I am now. This thing was pretty sharp also so it was not cool to bite down on.I understand that mistakes happen but no thanks!

Excellent food and great service. We enjoyed our dinner and Yelp came through again. We make this place a regular stop for the family. The orange and general chicken are the best in town.

First time eating hear and was absolutely impressed! Excellent Chinese food is pretty scarce in my neck of the woods, and my only staple is a place in Folsom. When a relative brought a carton of General Tso's Chicken, I had to check this place out myself. Needless to say, it was soooo good. The best part is that it has that fresh Chinese food taste, the veggies were crisp and well-seasoned, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable as well, and I will definitely be back!

I live nearby and just ate here for the first time last week. Everything was great! We ordered hot and sour soup, spring rolls, chow fun and general chicken and everything was great! If you like Fat's hot and sour soup...this is just as good. We will definitely become regulars at this restaurant.

OMG!!! The best chinese restaurant ever! The owner which is from china, therefore, they make real tasty chinese food, not Americanize chinese food. All the friends that I brought into that restaurant, they all said that sezchuan garden makes the best chinese food. They will never get sick of it. I recomment everyone stop by and try their tasty oringe chicken and general chicken. They are delicious!

This is a great restaurant. It changed hands over a year ago, could even be two and we did not know. So if you shop at Ralley's and have not realized that this restaurant is new....please stop in. It really is worth the trip. When you find good Chinese food you have to support it or it will go away. I love egg foo Young and they make the best that I have found anywhere in California. And they deliver close by!?
